Today we swapped BMX for eBikes as Preston’s own Ross Cullen, who usually pilots his racing BMX at speeds up to 60kph, jumped on a MiRiDER 20, kitted out with Hope Technology components.

No stranger to top-tier kit, Ross and his GB Cycling teammates know Hope well, having ridden their world-class velodrome machines at Paris 2024.

A boost when you need it.

Every MiRiDER model is equipped with a very useful 'Boost button' as a part of the MiDRiVE system. It has two benefits and is LOVED by all who ride our bikes.

When pedalling, pressing (with your right thumb) and holding in position, the MiDRiVE system will deliver Level 5 assistance in and instant - great for swift overtakes or for boosting the power when tackling an incline. No need to adjust the Power Assistance levels on the control panel - you can have full power on demand!

It also operates as a walk-assist when not being pedalled meaning inclines on foot are made easier too as the motor will engage to walking pace (3.7mph).

And when you're ready to set off, use the boost button to get that forward momentum.
